AMANDA KELSO

- DIRECTOR OF A&R/FILM & TV -

Born and raised in Orlando, Amanda Kelso has always had a passion for music. She fell in love with Nashville after touring Belmont University her senior year of high school, and shortly after applied and was accepted in 2014. While in school, she was fortunate to land internships with MV2 Entertainment, Barbara Cloyd, and Daredevil Production where she first found her love for working with songwriters and artists. Amanda graduated with a degree in Business Administration in just two years, but decided to go back to Belmont for a second degree in the Arts to continue building relationships as well as further her education. During this time, she met Demolition Music Publishing's General Manager, Michael August. After talking about her interest in publishing and love of songwriting, she landed an internship with the company and was later hired on as a Creative Coordinator. In 2020, Amanda went back to school part time and graduated with a Master’s in Public Relations from the University of Florida. Utilizing the knowledge she gained from her coursework and internship with 117 Entertainment, Amanda started writing press releases and media pitches for a few of the artists on the Demolition roster, helping start the artist development branch of the company. Around this time, she was promoted to A&R Manager and took an interest in the Film&TV space. Working alongside Demolition's Sync Consultant, Richard Harris, and Head of A&R, Adam Epstein, the team has been instrumental in garnering cuts and placements for the writers on the Demolition roster. Amanda was recently promoted to Director of A&R/Film&TV and was fortunate to be elected as the Communications Chair on the Nashville In Sync board.
